Ben Reilly, an aging, down on his luck private investigator, grapples with his past life as the only superhero in 1930s New York City, the Spider. When an exceptional case comes his way, Reilly must become the Spider once more.

The series was developed by Oren Uziel, who also served as showrunner along with Steve Lightfoot. Uziel also wrote the first and last episodes of the season. Lightfoot, Christopher Chen, Megan Liao, Tori Sampson, Jennifer Frazin, Jack Henderson, and Bruce Marshall Romans also served as writers. Harry Bradbeer as well as Nzingha Stewart served as directors. Spider-Noir was produced by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal who produced Cage’s first appearance as the noir character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Cage stars as Ben Reilly / The Spider along with Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson, Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy, Karen Rodriguez as Janet, Abraham Popoola as Lonnie Lincoln / Tombstone, Jack Huston as Flint Marko / Sandman, and Brendan Gleeson as Silvermane.

Spider-man Noir was created by writers David Hine and Fabrice Sapolsky, artists Carmine Di Giandomenico and Marko Djurdjević based on Spider-Man, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. His first appearance came February 2009 in Spider-Man: Noir #1 from Marvel Comics.

Setting itself apart from other television shows today, Spider-Noir will be released in both color and black-and-white versions. The eight-episode series will release in its entirety on May 25, 2026 only on MGM+ in the United States and Prime on May 27 globally.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man explores Peter Parker’s origin story and early days using the Spider-Man persona. The series is set in an alternate timeline within the multiverse where Norman Osborn becomes Parker’s mentor instead of Tony Stark, as happens in the MCU’s “Sacred Timeline”.

The animated television series was created by Jeff Trammell for Disney+, of course based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. The show is the 12th series (second animated series) in the MCU and part of Phase 5. Trammell serves as head writer of the series, while Mel Zwyer is the supervising director.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man stars Hudson Thames as Peter Parker / Spider-Man; Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn; Eugene Byrd as Lonnie Lincoln; Grace Song as Nico Minoru; Zeno Robinson as Harry Osborn; Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius; Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil; Kari Wahlgren as May Parker; Paul F. Kraven’s complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff, starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.

The Kraven the Hunter movie is based on the comic book character with the same name created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. Directed by J.C. Chandor from a screenplay by Richard Wenk and the writing team of Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. Kraven was produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainment and is the sixth film in the SSU.

The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the title role, alongside Ariana DeBose as Calypso Ezili, Fred Hechinger as Dmitri Smerdyakov / Chameleon, Alessandro Nivola as Aleksei Sytsevich / Rhino, Christopher Abbott as the Foreigner, and Russell Crowe as Nikolai Kravinoff.

With a budget of $130 million, the film’s opening weekend is estimated to be in the $20-25 million range–in perspective Sony’s Morbius and Madame Web brought in $39 million and $15 million domestically respectively on each film’s opening weekend.

Kraven the Hunter is going to finally makes it’s big screen debut after initially set to release on January 13, 2023, October 6, 2023, and August 30, 2024. Now, Kraven the Hunter hits theaters on December 12.

One of the most significant issues with Madame Web is its lack of effort from all involved parties. From the creative team to the actors themselves, it’s clear that little care was taken in creating an engaging and believable story. The script feels incredibly rushed and forced, leaving viewers struggling to connect with any of the characters. Even Dakota Johnson‘s performance falls short – she fails to bring depth or nuance to her role as Cassandra Webb.

Unfortunately, Madame Web is one of the worst comic book movies ever made. The film lacks any clear direction or purpose, leading to a confusing and unengaging plotline. As a result, even die-hard superhero fans will likely find themselves struggling to stay invested in what’s happening on screen.

While there may have been some hope for Madame Web at the beginning of the film, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Instead of building on its intriguing premise and developing well-rounded characters, the movie devolves into scenes that lack any real substance or emotion. By the end credits, viewers are left feeling empty and unsatisfied.

In addition to its poor writing and execution, Madame Web also suffers from weak visuals and effects. While it’s understandable that not every superhero movie can boast top-tier CGI; there’s no excuse for such shoddy effects in a film released in 2024. At times, the visuals are so bad that they take you out of the story entirely.

Overall, Madame Web is a disappointing and lackluster effort that fails to deliver. Being one of the worst comic book movies and this coming from a person who saw Morbius. Sony’s Spider-Man Universe keeps fumbling where Marvel Studios succeeds with using the web-slinger…oh wait Spider-Man wasn’t present in this Spider-Verse style movie.

Madame Web stars Johnson as Cassandra Webb / Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Cornwall, Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon, Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin and Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel Sims. The film was directed by S.J. Clarkson from a screenplay she co-wrote with Claire Parker and the writing team of Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.

With an $80 million budget and grossing $25.8 on opening, the film is definitely considered a flop. Madame Web is only the fourth Marvel film to not take #1 at the box office on opening weekend.

While Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now scheduled to be released on June 2, 2023 it was originally set for release on April 8, 2022, but was shifted to October 7 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was then moved to the June 2023 date.

The film is projected to gross around $70-$80 million over its three-day opening weekend in the United States. This number is double what the original film was projected ($30–35 million) and achieved ($35.4 million). Not many people where expecting the first film to be as wonderfully made as it was leading to the second film expected to do much better. One can only image Across the Spider-Verse has a better run in theaters ($384.3 million) than it’s predecessor.

While Spider-Man fights his usual enemies, five episodes have him contending with Doctor Doom.

Miles Morales is a Brooklyn Visions Academy Student who was bitten by a radioactive spider, gained spider-like abilities, not wanting to be a hero at first, he was forced to took up the mantle of the masked vigilante after the death of his world’s Peter Parker.

Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider in his teens, giving him extraordinary spider-like abilities becoming first Spider-Man of his universe following the death of his Uncle Ben.

He would operated as the masked hero/vigilante Spider-Man for a decade, having faced numerous villains and being praised by many citizens in the process managing to have a lot of merchandising such as food, comic books and even musics based on his superhero persona.

During one of his attempts to save Brooklyn from the Super-Collider, Peter was killed. His death devastated the citizens of New York and his first and final encounter with Miles Morales prompted the boy to eventually take up his mantle.

Gwendolyne “Gwen” Stacy was bitten by a radioactive spider becoming the one and only Spider-Woman of her universe. She is one of the Spider-People who were accidentally pulled out of her dimension by the Kingpin’s Super-Collider.

Miguel O’Hara is a Spider-Person from Earth-928, a universe set in the future. Spider-Man 2099 will make his Sony Spider-Verse movie debut with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

SPIDER-WOMAN

Alias: Jessica Drew
Played by: Issa Rae

Jessica Drew was born to Jonathan Drew and Miriam Drew. Experimented on by Hydra, she was sent to kill Nick Fury. After being shown the true nature of Hydra, she fled the scene and would later come back as a hero, bounty hunter, private investigator, and finally as a member of the Avengers.

SPIDER-PUNK

Alias: Hobart “Hobie” Brown
Played by: Daniel Kaluuya

Foul-mouthed teenager Hobie Brown became a Spider-Totem after being bitten by a spider irradiated by illegal waste dumping. He proclaimed himself a Spider-Man and began to fight for freedom alongside his new friends Captain Anarchy and Hulk.

SPIDER-MAN INDIA

Alias: Pavitr Prabhakar
Played by: Karan Soni

Pavitr Prabhakar moved to Mumbai with his aunt Maya and uncle Bhim to study after getting half a scholarship. Boys at the school teased him and beat him. Only Meera Jain, a girl from school, befriended him.

Meanwhile, Nalin Oberoi, a local crimelord, used an amulet to perform an ancient ritual during which he was possessed by a demon committed to opening the gate for other demons to reach to Earth. While being chased by other kids, Pavitr encountered an ancient yogi who gave him the power of a spider to fight the evil threatening the world.

While discovering his powers, Pavitr refused to help a woman being attacked by several men. He left the place, but returned when he heard his uncle’s cry out, having been stabbed when he tried to help the woman. Thus Pavitr came to understand that with great power comes great responsibility.

SCARLET SPIDER

Alias: Ben Reilly
Played by: Andy Samberg

Ben Reilly is a genetic clone of Peter Parker, the super hero Spider-Man, who went on to determine his own identity as the Scarlet Spider. Ben was created by Miles Warren, the super villain known as the Jackal, to torment the hero, and seemingly died in their first encounter. The clone survived and exiled himself for five years, only returning to New York after learning that Parker’s Aunt May was sick.

After making amends with Peter, Ben fought alongside him as the Scarlet Spider. For a brief time, Ben and Peter were tricked by Norman Osborn via Seward Trainer to believe Ben was the real Peter Parker. Peter left New York with his wife Mary Jane Watson, leaving Ben to pick up the mantle of Spider-Man.

CYBORG SPIDER-WOMAN

Played by: Unknown

Much is unknown about Cyborg Spider-Woman. However, according to Habsro’s website, Cyborg Spider-Woman is part Spider-Woman, part machine. She doesn’t have regular powers like everyone else but with years of experience and a cannon for an arm, she’s seen it all and can fight with the best of them!

SPIDER-BYTE

Alias: Margo Kess
Played by: Unknown

Living in a world where people spend the majority of their time as virtual avatars in the Cyberspace, Margo Kess decided to act as a masked vigilante called Spider-Byte and help stop cybercrime as a form of community service.

She was later recruited into the Spider-Army by Ghost-Spider and participated in the final push against the Inheritors at Earth-616’s Transamerica Pyramid. Curiously, she was wearing her virtual reality costume in a real world.

SUPAIDĀMAN

Alias: Takuya Yamashiro
Played by: Unknown

In the Japanese TV Show, Spider-Man’s civilian identity is Takuya Yamashiro, a 22-year-old motocross racer. He has the ability to perceive threats from the Iron Cross Army with his spider-senses. He fights the Iron Cross Army in order to avenge his father’s death.

To conceal his superhero identity, Takuya acts as a weakling in front of his friends. Takuya gets chastised by his friends whenever he runs away from danger and is often compared unfavorably to Spider-Man. Moreover, his financial income as a motorcycle racer decreases after becoming Spider-Man due to his reduced participation in races, forcing him to assist Hitomi in her job to pay for his expenses.

INSOMNIAC’S SPIDER-MAN

In the Video Game series, Peter Parker, who adopts the secret identity as the original Spider-Man, is the main protagonist of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. Peter gained his powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider at the age of fifteen. Vulture is a bird-themed supervillain from a Renaissance-inspired universe. Toomes is an inventive, but maniacal genius who designed a special suit that allows him to fly at vast speeds. After turning to a life of crime, he became a recurring enemy of the superhero Spider-Man, and a founding member of the Sinister Six.

Fun fact: Jorma Taccone previously voiced Norman Osborn / Green Goblin and Peter Parker / Spider-Man from the 1967 TV series in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

SPOT

Alias: Jonathan Ohnn
Played by: Jason Schwartzman

The Spot, also known as Dr. Jonathan Ohnn, was a scientist who worked for Kingpin and was assigned to find a way to reproduce the radiation levels held by Cloak.

The goal was to try and mimic his powers, and Ohnn actually succeeded in his experiment. He managed to open a black portal one night, but doing so drained the city’s power and sent the city into a blackout, which made the portal unstable. Afraid of losing it as it was his life’s work, Ohnn stepped through the portal and ended up floating around a dimension that was half dark and half light.
