Only those who deserve super powers get super powers in The Ambassadors #1, another smash hit from Millarworld and Image Comics.

Imagine you could gift superpowers to six people. In a world of eight billion, who do you choose? Join six of the greatest artists in the industry for an enormous story about ordinary people from around the world explaining why it should be them.

The Ambassadors comes from multiple award winning writer Mark Millar (Civil War, Old Man Logan, American Jesus), artist and colorist Frank Quitely (Jupiter’s Legacy, All-Star Superman) with letters by Clem Robbins.

Now super-powered comics are nothing new, but the concept in The Ambassadors of gifting others of your choice super powers is an amazing idea from the wonderful mind of Millar. Add this concept to the amazing artwork and colors from Quitely comes an all-star comic series.

Millar seems to continue to churn out classic comic books with some of our favorite story arcs of all-time coming from his mind. Teamed up with Netflix, Mark just keeps rolling. Speaking of Netflix, let’s see this series on the streaming service in the future…please.

While we don’t want to spoil much of the comic, just going to leave this here… E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial likes Reeses Pieces, Jamie likes Skittles.

The Ambassadors #1 hit local comic shops on March 29, 2023. In addition to Quitely’s main cover, the debut issue features variants from Gigi Cavenago, Pepe Larraz and a blank sketch cover. The second issue hits your LCS on April 12.
