Andrew, a retired conflict photographer, lives a life steeped in regret after an unthinkable tragedy, but everything shifts when the seasons arrive-each one a personified, god-like creature. As he risks everything to track down Spring, Summer, AutumnFall, and Winter, will capturing the perfect picture of each be enough to find redemption… and ultimately bring color back to his world?
Written by Dan Watters (Sword of Azrael, Home Sick Pilots) with artwork by Sebastian Cabrol (Anthony Bourdain’s Hungry Ghosts, Maestro: World War M), colors by Dan Jackson and letters from Nate Piekos, The Seasons Have Teeth is both down to earth and supernaturally apocalyptic in its pertinence.
With a unique as hell story, The Seasons Have Teeth was something special to read. The drab, colorless world is felt as the first issue moves along. While each comic of the four-issue miniseries will focus around a single season, we could’ve used more in this debut issue. However, if you are looking for a new and unique take on the seasons changing and a new in unique comic book, this will be one to give a shot.
The Seasons Have Teeth #1 hits comic book shelves on April 12, 2023 from BOOM! Studios.
