This year turned out to be a pretty good year for the motion picture. Not only were some of these films our favorite movies of 2022, but also can be included in some of our all-time favorite movies.
Our list is of favorite movies of 2022 is just for fun and is purely based on how we liked each film this year. Most of our lists are done in no particular order, but for this list we start at 20 and head down towards our favorite movies of 2022.
Of course, we were unable to watch EVERY movie to release in 2022, but we got through quite a bit.
15. The Black Phone
Finney, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, is abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney.
