Johnson’s art within Nightwalkers #1 does an excellent job of bringing Bunn’s thrilling story to life. Through detailed illustrations that capture both characters’ emotions as well as the setting itself, readers will be transported into this world of suspenseful horror with blood and gore. Furthermore, there are plenty of darker colors used throughout that provide an extra element of intensity when needed—perfect for when facing off against a monstrous foe! The whole book is brought together with excellent lettering from Justin Birch.
Cullen Bunn seems to have hit-after-hit recently in the horror genre from Door to Door Night by Night at Vault Comics to A Legacy of Violence at Mad Cave Studios, it seems the writer can’t seem to miss.
