Sometimes when a super team forms in sports or a supergroup gets together in music it doesn’t always work out to their advantage. This cannot be said about The Devil’s Cut and the future of DSTLRY. If the debut one-shot is even a glimpse of what we can expect from these legendary creators we are in for a hell of a ride.
Story, artwork, lettering and design in The Devil’s Cut is top-notch. The one-shot has real John Hammond vibes as we feel as DSTLRY “spared no expense” creating a one-of-a-kind comic for real comic book fans. Let’s just hope that DSTLRY has a better future than Jurassic Park.
The initial release of a teaser of what to expect from the new kid on the block is a great way for us to see what is to come. So be sure to grab your copy at your local comic shop on August 30, 2023 as the kick-off issue will never be reprinted in this format ever again.
