McFarlane is a Canadian comic book creator, artist, writer, filmmaker and entrepreneur, best known for his work as the artist on The Amazing Spider-Man, creating Spawn and a founding member of Image Comics.
His book, Spawn, is the longest running creator-owned comic in history with 323 issues as of November 1, 2021.
Todd’s style was the biggest point of contention when working at Marvel Comics in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
