Like one of our favorite television series, Only Murders in the Building, The Maid has the perfect blend of mystery and humor. The author has sprinkled the book with amusing and witty observations that provide light relief from the suspenseful moments. The humor is not over the top and gives readers a brief respite before we plunge back into the mystery.
