Joseph Schmalke is a comic book artist and writer residing in Maine. Schmalke is the creator of such titles as Murder Hobo, We Don’t Kill Spiders, Electric Black, Seven Years In Darkness and many more.
The first volume of Seven Years In Darkness recently wrapped up with the one-shot Seven Years In Darkness: The Shamir Worm coming in January 2024 from CEX Publishing. The first volume will be collected together in a “progress report” in early 2024 and in a trade paperback coming later in 2024.
Seven Years In Darkness continues next year with the second year in the school coming in April 2024..
Schmalke recently had successful kickstarter campaigns for his Murder Hobo and We Don’t Kill Spiders.
