If Destruction Be Our Lot #1

Writer: Matthew Rosenberg, Mark Elijah Rosenberg
Artist: Andy MacDonald
Publisher: Image Comics
Humanity is extinct and all that remains are the robots who once helped us. The robots who once helped us are happier now, doing their work without human interference. But not Abe. He believes there must be something more out there. After nearly getting killed, he’s determined to wander the Earth until he finds it — or gets recycled trying.
Brilliant artist Andy MacDonald (Doctor Strange, Wonder Woman), and adequate writers Mark Elijah Rosenberg (Approaching the Unknown, Year Million) and Matthew Rosenberg (We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us, 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank) bring you an ongoing sci-fi adventure about finding purpose, holding onto hope, and really lonely robots.
Brother writing team of Matthew & Mark Elijah Rosenberg and artist Andy MacDonald craft a story in If Destruction Be Our Lot… that somehow finds humanity in the inhuman after the living have gone extinct. A science-fiction exploration where lonely robots search for a purpose in a post-apocalyptic world. A must-read comic where there are more questions than answers, leading to a compulsive need for more. – CLICK HERE to read our entire review of the first issue
Innards #1

Writer: Rob Guillory
Artist: Sam Lotfi
Publisher: Ignition Press
Powerhouse creative team Rob Guillory and Sam Lotfi (Mosely) reunite for a psychological sci-fi thriller at the center of the Earth!
It’s Roy Wilder’s first day on the most dangerous job in the world.
After a catastrophic nuclear attack, humanity’s last energy source is Lucifium. The mineral, buried miles beneath Earth’s surface, is accessible only by teleportation and navigation through an inhospitable subterranean maze.
The motley brotherhood of “divers” employed by the ONIS corporation gambles their bodies and minds in pursuit of a better future for themselves and their loved ones. The high-risk, high-reward mission attracts the daring and desperate alike, and all must be unflinching to survive under the leadership of grizzled rig boss Jax Ridley. But even the boldest will break when Roy’s initiation cracks the seal on a harrowing corporate secret… and the depths come alive to awaken the crew’s inner demons.
Innards is a high-pressure, terrifying thrill ride for fans of Event Horizon and The Abyss.
Innards #1 was exactly the type of debut that reminds me why I keep coming back to these type of comics, something that is bold and strange with just the right about of mystery. Rob Guillory and Sam Lofti craft a world that feels dangerous, emotional, and visually unforgettable right off the bat. It’s a comic you must add to your pull-list and won’t want to miss. – CLICK HERE to read our entire review of the first issue
