The Capes and Tights crew finishes up Star Wars Week with another review! This time around, a discussion of Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The podcast welcomes guest co-host Gibran Graham of The Briar Patch bookstore in Bangor, Maine to discuss the film!

Solo released on May 25, 2018 – 41 years to the day after Star Wars: A New Hope released in theaters. The film was considered a box office flop with a total of $393.2 million on a substantial $275 million budget. The first anthology Star Wars movie was written by Jonathan Kasdan and Lawrence Kasdan, and directed by Ron Howard.

The Han Solo origin story starred Alden Ehrenreich as Han, Woody Harrelson as Tobias Beckett, Emilia Clarke as Qi’ra, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Thandiwe Newton as Val, Phoebe Waller-Bridge as L3-37, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, and Paul Bettany as Dryden Vos. Additionally, Jon Favreau voiced Rio Durant. Favreau is responsible for The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett and other Star Wars related shows on Disney+.
