We watched our fair share of films in 2022, some were outstanding, others did not live up to the hype and just turned out to be disappointing movies.
This list consists of movies we thought could have potential of being great films, but ended up disappointing us. Now, we definitely watched a few horrible movies that did not make this list because we had anticipated the films turning out awful.
2. The Munsters
Lily is a typical 150-year-old lovelorn vampire who’s looking for the man of her nightmares — until she lays her eyes on Herman, a 7-foot-tall green experiment with a heart of gold. It’s love at first shock as these two ghouls fall fangs over feet for each other in a Transylvanian romance. Unfortunately, it’s not all smooth sailing in the cemetery as Lily’s father has other plans for his beloved daughter’s future, and they don’t involve her new bumbling beau.
Being big fans of Rob Zombie‘s work on the Firefly film series of House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, and 3 From Hell gave us hope Zombie was going to be able to take the classic source material and put his touch on it. He did, but not in a Firefly trilogy way, more of a Halloween reboot way.
