This week on the Capes and Tights Podcast we discuss Justin Soderberg’s visit to the Living With The Walking Dead during his trip to New York City. Plus, Midtown Comics and more!
The Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI) features a lobby of clean white walls and floors you expect at any modern art museum. However, what lurked on the third floor was the polar opposite with the exhibit Living With The Walking Dead. MoMI and AMC partnered to bring the Living With The Walking Dead exhibit to MoMI’s Queens, N.Y. museum from June 25, 2022 through the end of the year. The exhibits takes up about half the third floor.
Soderberg also stopped by three of the four Midtown Comics locations in NYC, including Astoria, Time Square, and Grand Central. As well as Forbidden Planet, Harry Potter Store, the Museum of Modern Art, and American Natural History Museum.
Last week, the plan was to have Chris Proulx on to discuss the upcoming Granite State Comicon in Manchester, N.H. but Covid had other plans and Soderberg was forced to cancel. Hopefully we will get the crew back on in the near future to discuss the event taking place September 16-18.
