Jeremy Haun (The Red Mother) is a comic book creator who, along with Jason Hurley (The Beauty) and artist Jesús Hervás (The Empty Man), co-created the Boom! Studios comic The Approach which released it’s debut issue on October 12, 2022.
In the turbulent new horror mini-series The Approach, a storm is coming that’s bringing more than bad weather. When airport employees Mac and Abigail find themselves snowed in after a blizzard, they witness a terrible plane crash.
After pulling a survivor from the wreckage, they realize a terrifying truth: this plane has been missing for 27 years! The nightmare has only just begun though, as the people trapped in the airport soon find themselves confronted by what this plane actually brought back…. For those with a fear of flying… it’s not the sky that deserves dread, but what lies beyond it…
In addition to Haun’s work on The Approach he is the writer and cover artist for the BOOM! Studios comic series The Red Mother which released 12 issues over December 2019 until January 2021. Haun also co-created The Beauty at Image Comics with fellow The Approach writer Hurley.
Haun has also worked on Batwoman, Constantine, and Wolf Moon. He has also worked for nearly every publisher in the industry.
