On Episode 81 of the Capes and Tights Podcast, Mad Cave Studios chief executive officer / chief operating officer Mark London joins Justin Soderberg to discuss Hunt. Kill. Repeat. and more from Mad Cave.
London grew up addicted to movies and comic books. If you want to talk about, fantasy, storytelling, Conan, Transformers, GI Joe, or Japanese Animation, he’s your man. Perhaps it’s the filmography of Jean Claude Van Damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger, or Sylvester Stallone.
As a kid, he loved it. As an adult, he still loves it.
Mark London has channeled that passion into his independent comic book publishing company, Mad Cave Studios, which he established in 2014. From the beginning of the studio’s inception, he has reached for nothing short of the best in terms of artwork, storylines, and team members.
London is the creative mind behind Battlecats, Knights of the Golden Sun, Wolvenheart, Midnight Task Force, Honor and Curse, and many more comics and graphic novels. His latest creation, Hunt. Kill. Repeat., drops March 1. He is joined by newcomer Francesco Archidiacono on pencils, with inks by Marc Deering (Green Lantern, Justice League), colors by Lee Loughridge (The Good Asian, Once Upon a Time at the End), and letters by Rus Wooton (Deadly Class, A Legacy of Violence).
About Mark London’s Hunt. Kill. Repeat.
It’s Kill Bill meets Clash of the Titans in Hunt. Kill. Repeat.
When the Greek gods invade Earth, society is quickly forced to comply with their new rulers. However, one god, Artemis, rejects her brethren’s ideology and has found solace in the love of a mortal. When she is called to Olympus to answer for her betrayal, the gods strip away her godly powers and leave her for dead. Now, ten years later, Artemis is on a quest for revenge to confront her father, Zeus, for taking away everything she ever loved.
