Space Job (Dark Horse)
The crew of the SS George H.W. Bush may not be the best in the galaxy, but they’re, well… a crew. Each day is an exciting new adventure in incompetence aboard the Bush. The Captain with self-centered priorities spends more time on space eBay than in command, the Chief Engineer can’t even fix a chair, the Operations Officer would rather be anywhere else, and the Communications Officer only seems to take personal calls. It’s a wonder they get anything done at all, but surely they can handle a simple cargo run. What could go wrong?
Family Guy (Fox)
Sick, twisted and politically incorrect, the animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and stay-at-home wife Lois reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. The talking dog, Brian, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues.
David A. Goodman was the showrunner for season 4-7. He wrote episodes Season 4, Episode 25; Season 6, Episode 4; Season 9, Episode 16; Season 9, Episode 18 (It’s a Trap!); Season 10, Episode 17; Season 15, Episode 6; and Season 16, Episode 13.
Star Trek: Enterprise (UPN)
Set in the mid-22nd century, over 100 years before James T. Kirk helmed the famous vessel, this installment of the “Star Trek” franchise is set on the Enterprise NX-01 — the first Earth starship capable of warp 5 — and explores the history of the interplanetary upheaval that eventually leads to the formation of the Federation.
David A. Goodman served as writer on Season 2, Episodes 11 and 19; and Season 3, Episodes 9 and 20.
The Orville (Dark Horse)
Picking up where season one of Seth MacFarlane‘s space adventure TV series leaves off, the crew of the Orville continue their space explorations, encountering new alien civilizations and confronting old enemies in these stories by Executive Producer David A. Goodman!
Futurama (Fox/Comedy Central)
Accidentally frozen, pizza-deliverer Fry wakes up 1,000 years in the future. He is taken in by his sole descendant, an elderly and addled scientist who owns a small cargo delivery service. Among the other crew members are Capt. Leela, accountant Hermes, intern Amy, obnoxious robot Bender and lobsterlike moocher “Dr.” Zoidberg.
David A. Goodman wrote Season 4, Episode 11; Season 8, Episode 5; and Season 9, Episode 3.
Wings (NBC)
Two brothers, Joe and Brian Hackett, run a one-plane commuter service from a small Nantucket airport. Along with Joe’s on-again/off-again girlfriend, there are more hilarious and eccentric characters who work out of or at the airport.
David A. Goodman served as writer on Season 5, Episode 9; and Season 6, Episode 12.
The Masked Macher (Dark Horse)
A struggling actor will take any opportunity that comes knocking…
It’s the 1930s and aspiring actor Tony Hollywood is about to make his big break! He’s finally got an audition for the role that will change his life, but a flat tire sends him to a different stage. Breaking down outside a wrestling arena lands him a new part to play… the Masked Macher! Tony quickly learns there’s a lot more to this wrestling gig than meets the eye, but hey, it pays.
The Orville (Fox/Hulu)
Down on his luck after a bitter divorce, Planetary Union officer Ed Mercer finally gets his chance to command his own ship. Determined to prove his worth and start a new chapter, Ed discovers the first wrinkle in his plan when the First Officer assigned to his ship is his ex-wife, Kelly Grayson. As the new commander, Ed assembles a qualified — but eccentric — crew, including his best friend, Gordon, who has problems with authority but is the best helmsman in the fleet; Dr. Claire Finn; Bortus, an alien from a single-sex species; Isaac, an artificial life-form from a machine society; navigator John Lamarr; Alara Kitan, a young, inexperienced security officer; and Yaphit, a gelatinous creature.
David A. Goodman wrote Season 1, Episode 6; Season 2, Episode 7 and 14; and Season 3, Episode 7.
Hysteria! (Peacock)
After building a reputation as a Satanic music group, members of a high-school heavy metal band become the target of a local witch hunt when reports of supernatural activity start to plague their town.
