The film’s twists and turns keep us engaged throughout. The films unhurried pace allows us to live in moments a bit longer and allows the characters to breath. Although the pace may be a bit slower, there is no shortage of action and high-stakes driving the narrative forward.
The cast sets Blood for Dust apart from other films in the genre at the moment. Each actor brings a powerful performance spearheaded by Scoot McNairy as Cliff and Game of Throne‘s Kit Harington as Ricky. From the former’s desperation to provide for his family combined with the latter’s reckless behavior, the cast brings an authenticity and intensity to every scene.
