Exorcists Never Die #1 from Mad Cave Studios makes a powerful entrance in debut with its captivating story, unparalleled artwork, and spectacular lettering by Steve Orlando (Bulls of Beacon Hill), Sebastian Piriz (We Ride Titans) and Carlos M. Mangual respectively! Be sure to get your hands on this highly anticipated series – it’s not going to let you down!
The story follows Syd Miller and Ellen Blair, two combat exorcists who have had a nuclear breakup years ago but must come together to raid the Hellscraper – an infernal tower going straight down into the Earth. With thousands of souls on the line, Syd and Ellen must work together to fight their way to the bottom or die trying.
The artwork in this comic book is nothing short of spectacular. Piriz’s art style is innovative and dynamic; his layouts are outstanding with plenty of details that make each panel pop off the page. The character designs are also exceptional – they give readers insight into each character’s personality while also showing off their unique abilities as exorcists. Plus, there’s plenty of world building that gives readers an idea of what it would be like to live in this universe where demons lurk beneath Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Mangual does an amazing job with lettering – Carlos captures just how intense the action scenes can get with sound effects that jump off the pages and dialogue that brings out each character’s individual personalities. All these elements combined make for one exciting ride from start to finish!
While not really our kind of plot, Exorcists Never Die #1 has everything you could want in a comic book – great artwork, gripping story, and outstanding lettering that ties it all together nicely. Whether you’re a fan of horror comics or just looking for something new to read, Exorcists Never Die #1 should definitely be on your list!
The debut issue drops in local comic shops on Apr 12, 2023 so be sure to let your LCS know you would like a copy ordered. Exorcists Never Die #1 features a variant cover from Paul Fry (Spider-Man 2099 Exodus) in addition to the main cover from Piriz.
