After the success of The Boys and Invincible, Amazon is diving into the world of comic books once again after news broke the streamer will adapt Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky‘s Sex Criminals into a television series.
According Above the Line, Fraction and Kelly Sue DeConnick inked an overall deal with Amazon which includes the adaptation of Fraction’s Sex Criminals and DeConnick’s Bitch Planet.
Fraction is an Eisner Award-winning comic book writer, known for his work as the writer of The Invincible Iron Man, Fantastic Four, The Immortal Iron Fist, Uncanny X-Men, and Hawkeye for Marvel Comics; Casanova and Sex Criminals for Image Comics; and Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen for DC Comics.
DeConnick Eisner Award-winning comic book writer and editor and English–language adapter of manga. She is best known for her work on Avengers Assemble and Captain Marvel for Marvel Comics; Pretty Deadly and Bitch Planet for Image Comics; and Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons for DC Comics.
