Fans of the hit Netflix show Stranger Things looking for more in the spooky world of Hawkins, Indiana are in for a treat with Stranger Things: Tales from Hawkins #1. The comic series expands on the show’s universe and brings readers new stories set in the same fictional town. Written by Jody Houser and illustrated by Caio Filipe, this comic is sure to delight fans of Stranger Things with its tales and breathtaking artwork.

Stranger Things: Tales from Hawkins #1 follows two friends who head out into the woods with their rifles and a six-pack. What they find beyond the trees is something far more sinister than they could have ever imagined—a nightmarish beast that has claimed the wilderness around town and everything inside it, including them. Readers will be thrilled as they follow these characters through their journey in this comic book anthology series.

The artwork in Tales from Hawkins is something special—it captures both the horror of Hawkins in 1983 as well as its beauty. Artist Filipe uses amazing lighting to great effect, making each scene come alive with atmosphere and emotion. Additionally, Dan Jackson‘s use of color also helps add depth to each panel, allowing readers to really immerse themselves in this story.

Tales from Hawkins #1 is an excellent way for fans of the Netflix show to expand their knowledge about this beloved fictional town. With its thrilling story and stunning artwork, this comic book will be sure to delight any die-hard fan of Stranger Things.
