However, the success and popularity of the character and her appeal to the young adult crowd is a FAVORITE for a bigger role longterm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and putting your bets in this book is a great idea.
There was a New Warriors tv show in production and set to air on Freeform in 2018, but the series was officially cancelled for a number of reasons in 2019. Vayntrub was set to reprise her role as Squirrel Girl. This does not mean there isn’t a future for the character on the screen. Let the speculation begin!
