The Killer is a neo-noir action thriller film hitting Netflix on November 10, 2023 following a limited run in theaters starting October 27.
After a fateful near miss, an assassin battles his employers, and himself, on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.
The film was directed by David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club, Zodiac) from a screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker (Windfall, Se7en) based on the French graphic novel by the same name written by Alexis “Matz” Nolent and illustrated by Luc Jacamon. The graphic novel series was published in 13 volumes by Casterman. It was later translated into English and published by Archaia Studios Press including the most recent release, The Killer: State of Affairs, at BOOM! Studios.
The Killer stars Michael Fassbender in the title role, alongside Charles Parnell as Hodges, Kerry O’Malley as Dolores, Sala Baker as The Brute, Sophie Charlotte as Magdala, and Tilda Swinton as The Expert. Additionally, the movie features Arliss Howard, Emiliano Pernía and Gabriel Polanco.
The Netflix movie features music by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
