This week on the podcast, Justin Soderberg and Adam Morrisette discuss the Star Wars Universe as a whole, including the films, television shows, video games, comics and more!
Star Wars is an American epic space-opera multimedia franchise created by George Lucas, which began with the eponymous 1977 film and quickly became a worldwide pop-culture phenomenon. In 2020, its total value was estimated at $70 billion, and it is currently the fifth-highest-grossing media franchise of all time.
Twelve feature films (original trilogy, prequel trilogy, sequel trilogy, two anthology films and Clone Wars animated film), Obi-Wan Kenobi will be the 16th television series, many books, comic books, video games, action figures, legos and so much more. Also, the franchise has spawned off theme parks attractions such as Star Tours (1987-2016), and Galaxy’s Edge (opened in 2019).
