LOS ANGELES, CA – After more than 40 years of exciting and innovative comic book storytelling, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) is approaching its milestone 300th issue… and IDW Publishing has Technodrome-sized plans to give the Heroes in a Half-Shell the shellabration they deserve!
Leaping into comic shops this July is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #300. To commemorate the massive milestone, IDW has crafted a radical blind bag program with an incredible lineup of cover artists, featuring multiple versions of a never-before-seen cover from co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, a stunning J. Scott Campbell variant, and more surprises to be revealed.
The landmark comic will kick off the blockbuster storyline ‘The City That Never Dies’ with Eisner Award-winning writer Gene Luen Yang and acclaimed artist Freddie E. Williams II. From the acclaimed storytellers behind the original Last Ronin, this oversized one-shot issue will see the return of Michelangelo as the Last Ronin as he prepares Casey Marie Jones, the daughter of April O’Neil and Casey Jones, to continue the epic battle against the Foot Clan and, one day, lead the next generation of Ninja Turtles.
