With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.
Realistically, sequels often struggle to match the cult appeal of the original film, but Beetlejuice Beetlejuicee manages to hold its own. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opened with $110 million over the weekend, the second-highest opening ever in the month of September, behind Stephen King’s It. The film is on track to become only the sixth feature film to break the $200 million mark in 2024. The budget for the film was estimated at around $100 million.
