Blue Book 1947 is an beautiful comic that captures the essence of true stories of UFO abductions. The storyline follows Kenneth Arnold’s encounter with flying objects that he couldn’t explain in any rational way. What makes this story unique is how it tackles the subject matter with a sense of realism, which draws readers into the narrative. This was the same format of the original series and why mess with success.

The artwork in Blue Book 1947 is simple yet effective. Michael Avon Oeming’s ability to capture the essence of each scene is remarkable, adding depth to the story’s already captivating nature. The illustrations and coloring are not overly complicated, allowing readers to focus on the storyline without becoming distracted by too many details.

James Tynion IV has done an excellent job writing this story, making it easy for readers to follow along and understand every aspect of Kenneth Arnold’s experience.

The True Weird backup story by Zac Thompson, Gavin Fullerton, and Aditya Bidikar is another highlight of this comic book. This backup story complements the main storyline perfectly, giving readers an additional insight into the strange world of UFO abductions.

Blue Book 1947 is an excellent addition to the Blue Book series. The storytelling, artwork, and overall presentation of this comic book are top-notch. James Tynion IV and Michael Avon Oeming have created a captivating journey that draws readers into the strange world of UFOs.
