Ms. Marvel is a 16-year-old Pakistani-American high school student from Jersey City who is an aspiring artist, avid gamer, and writes superhero fan fiction about heroes such as Captain Marvel. Khan gains the ability to harness cosmic energy and create constructs from a magical bangle.
The series was created by Bisha K. Ali is scheduled to premiere on June 8, 2022, and will consist of six total episodes.
Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel; Matt Lintz as Bruno Carrelli; Yasmeen Fletcher as Nakia Bahadir; Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba Khan; Mohan Kapur as Yusuf Khan; Saagar Shaikh as Amir Khan; Rish Shah as Kamran; Laurel Marsden as Zoe Zimmer; Adaku Ononogbo as Fariha; Laith Nakli as Sheikh Abdullah; Travina Springer as Tyesha Hillman; and Aramis Knight as Kareem / Red Dagger.
Additionally, Fawad Khan, Arian Moayed, Alysia Reiner, Azhar Usman, Nimra Bucha, Alyy Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Anjali Bhimani, and Farhan Akhtar have been cast in undisclosed roles.
The first episode was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah and written by Bisha K. Ali.
