In the realm of DC Studios movies we will see the following…
Superman: Legacy: Gunn and Safran are ready to serve up the true feast – Superman! They plan on releasing this cinematic treat on July 11, 2025. This movie will not follow an origin story, but instead explore how The Man of Steel balances his alien lineage with small-town Kansas values. His heroism is seen as classic– a symbol for truth justice and America’s idealistic approach to life set amongst a backdrop that finds warmth outdated. Originally created in the late 90s by Jim Lee‘s influential Wildstorm imprint, The Authority soon became a highly regarded movie adaptation — not afraid to take risks and push boundaries along their mission for justice! “One of the things of the DCU is that it’s not just a story of heroes and villains,” said Gunn. “Not every film and TV show is going to be about good guy vs. bad guy, giant things from the sky comes and good guy wins. There are white hats, black hats and grey hats.”
The Brave and the Bold: Batman is faced with a fatherly dilemma – his newfound son was raised by seasoned assassins. It promises to be an unforgettable story of bumpy family relationships, taking inspiration from Grant Morrison‘s iconic comic run that left fans breathless. “It’s a very strange father-and-son story.”
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow: Inspired by the Tom King and Bilquis Evely series of the same name, it’s time for a new take on Superman’s cousin as a TV show.
Swamp Thing: To end the opening act of a riveting story, take in some spine-chilling thrills with Swamp Thing – a horror film.

This series will become a bridge between the first season of Peacemaker and the second, mainly due to the fact Gunn has been too busy to write the followup season.
Lanterns: Greg Berlanti‘s iconic Green Lanterns universe has been reimagined with a brand-new take on the power ring superheroes. This fresh adaptation is set to be akin to an intergalactic True Detective, grounded in reality and featuring main heroes Hal Jordan and John Stewart as integral players in this cosmic saga spanning across film and TV. It looks like we’re about blast off for another unforgettable DC adventure!

The Batman sequel starring Robert Pattinson has been confirmed but it won’t be part of this new DCU—at least not yet! That doesn’t mean we won’t get to see some awesome crossovers between these different worlds though!
