#32: Peacemaker First Season Review

This week on Capes and Tights, the crew discusses DC Comics television! This time around Adam and Justin review the first season of Peacemaker.

The latest DC project aired on HBO Max from January 13, 2022 through February 17, 2022 with eight total episodes.

Created, written, produced and mostly directed by James Gunn, Peacemaker stars John Cena as Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee as John Economos, Robert Patrick as August “Auggie” Smith (White Dragon), Rizwan Manji as Jamil  and Dee Bradley Baker voicing Eagly.

The show featured cameo appearances by Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ezra Miller as The Flash.

To get the full experience first watch The Suicide Squad (released August 6, 2021). Peacemaker was renewed from a second season, also written and directed by Gunn.
