The holiday season is upon us and it’s a perfect time for the horror anthology Holiday Spirits, Vol. 2 to be funded with over 48 hours remaining.
Created by Jerome Gagnon and Travis Gibb (Granite State Punk) with inspiration from Charles Dickens‘ timeless characters, the second volume of Holiday Spirits has raised nearly $9,000 on a $8,500 goal and is now over funded. Volume 2 is set after the events of their first volume, which was funded via Kickstarter in 2021.
In the first volume, we meet Marley, a psychopath serial killer who likes to dress up as Krampus, as he’s on death row. He’s visited by Dickens’ three Ghosts of Christmas who shows him some horrible stories in order to reach him, some people are redeemable and some…just are not.
In the twisted version of Miracle on 34th Street, Volume 2 heads back in time and to see Marley’s trial.
The short stories in the Orange Cone Productions holiday anthology have their own unique flavor. Tales of slashers and bodily possession and others inspired by Native American mythology as well as Eastern European legends. Also featured are Black Friday and Hanukah.
