But the 1% won’t be safe for long…A murderer is on the loose, specifically targeting the super-rich. Soon Elise, an employee of the billionaire’s space station, is wrapped up in a deadly investigation, with each issue featuring a new, diabolically different kill!
2021’s breakout writer Gailey and rising star Kangas take a stab at the ultra-wealthy, their dreams of escaping the very planet they’ve put in peril, and the consequences of a future that might not be so far away…
A good detective murder mystery is something we never shy away from when reading a story. Base this story in space and you have us hooked. Know Your Station #1 didn’t let us down.
After a slow start with more wording than we typically desire, the comic progressed to a speed and spot which made us glued to the pages. Adding in many different plot lines and directions the series could end up going makes for an excellent debut issue. Giving us the reader just enough to complete the first issue, but leave us wanting more is exactly what we expect a comic book to do.
We fell in love with the illustrations of Kangas with Trve Kvlt this fall and this continues with Know Your Station. The combination of Gailey’s writing and Kangas artwork works seamlessly in this BOOM! Studios series. Looking forward to more.
