As we near the end of the 2023 Capes and Tights Star Wars Week and it's time to rank our favorite live-action Star Wars movies and tv shows.
This list is compiled of all the movies and television shows based in the Star Wars Universe. We polled Capes and Tights Podcast guests Ryan Lessard, Jonathan Hedrick, Paul Eaton, our writers, as well as a few friends of Capes and Tights to determine the best list possible.
Each live-action Star Wars project was assigned a point value based on where the movie or show ended up on each respective list and added them up. The highest point total got first and the lowest last and so on.
10. Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi
Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren and General Hux lead the First Order in an all-out assault against Leia and the Resistance for supremacy of the galaxy.
