Fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are in for more animated films, this time on the Paramount+ streaming service.
According to Variety, the announced projects being produced by Nickelodeon and Nickelodeon Animation back in February as part of the ViacomCBS investor day presentation will include a few TMNT films.
The new series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies will each be focused around one of the franchise’s most famous villains. The films are expected to launch in 2023. Villains could possibly include Shredder, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, and more.
These films are in addition to the Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem animated feature film heading to theaters on August 4, 2023. Mutant Mayhem will be directed by Jeff Rowe.
The world of TMNT is in full force with the limited comic books series, The Last Ronin, also getting a sequel series coming in November as announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
