The Beauty is an science fiction body horror televisions series coming to FX, Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ this January based on the comic series by writer/artist Jeremy Haun and writer Jason A. Hurley.
Partners Drew Foster and Kara Vaughn investigate “the Beauty” STD causing aesthetic effects but proving lethal, evading corrupt officials and a mercenary targeting them amidst a suspected government conspiracy.
The series was created by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story, Glee, 9-1-1) and Matt Hodgson (Glee, 9-1-1). The Beauty stars Evan Peters as Cooper Madsen, Anthony Ramos as The Assassin, Jeremy Pope as Jeremy, Ashton Kutcher as The Corporation, and Rebecca Hall as Jordan Bennett.
Originally published as a comic series from Image Comics from 2016-2019 with 30 issues and six collected editions. The series has been revived by Haun and Hurley at Ignition Press which launched in 2025, just in time for the television series.
The Beauty premieres on FX, Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ with the first three episodes on January 21, 2026. Episodes 4-7 air weekly following with the final four episodes airing in pairs on February 28 and March 4. The series is also slated to be released simultaneously on Disney+ internationally.
