While the Granite State Comicon is not a strictly Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles convention, it has become a place where TMNT fans, writers and artists flock. For TMNT Week we have decided to preview the upcoming convention!
The first Granite State Comicon was the 2003. “Granitecon” was a one-day, one-room, no-celebrity, comic book and gaming show. It was definitely small, to be sure, but it was a hit. Now years later, that smaller size continues to serve our guests, vendors and attendees well.
The 2023 convention takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown in Manchester, N.H. from September 15-17 and put on by Double Midnight Comics.
Comic creators attending Granite State Comicon that have worked on a TMNT comic over the years include Sarah Myer, Mike Rooth, Ben Bishop, Steve Lavigne, Jon Sommariva, Mateus Santolouco, Camillo Di Pietrantonio, Hugh Rookwood, Joseph Schmalke, Freddie Williams II, Rich Woodall, Tim Lattie, Craig Rousseau, Bill Anderson, Chris Vance, Bob Tkacik, and more.
Other comic creators, artists and writers attending feature Jeremy Whitley, Joe Eisma, Bryan Tillman, Keith Champagne, Tim Jones, JaVon Stokes, Rafael Albuquerque, Ed Smith, Erin Lefler, Ashlee Brienzo, Sean Gordon Murphy, Katana Collins, Blake Northcott, Jarrett Melendez, Bill Walko, J.K. Woodward, Travis Gibb, Clay McCormack, and more!
Celebrity guests include Jessie T. Usher (The Boys, Gen V, Tales of the Walking Dead), Billy Gunn (WWE Hall of Famer, AEW, NXT, TNA), Christina Costello (Genshin Impact, Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles), Todd Haberkorn (Fairy Tail, Genshin Impact), Kyle Pacek (The Mandalorian), Karan Ashley (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Arn & Brock Anderson (WWE Hall of Fame, AEW), Scott Steiner (WWE Hall of Famer, WCW, WWC, WWA) and more!
The weekend also features many panels, photo ops, cosplayers, gaming, vendors and so much more! Granitecon continues to add new update the convention, so be sure to checkout their updates section on their website!
