Here we are…2023 TMNT Week has come to a close and here we are to recap what went down this past week!
Over the past seven days we have hosted three podcasts featuring special guests, two written interviews, as well as posted a number of features based in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. It has been a fun-filled week of content!

Steve Lavigne // Comic Book Illustrator
Episode 120 featured Steve Lavigne comic book illustrator best known for his lettering and coloring on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles title for Mirage Studios, the first full-time artist on the series outside co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. He is the creator of Cudley the Cowlick, Sgt. Bananas, and Stump and Sling.
Mateus Santolouco // Comic Book Illustrator
Episode 121 featured Mateus Santolouco a Brazilian comic artist and creator. As well as his continued work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he has worked on the titles Two Guns, Dial H, Cover Girl, Dark Reign- Lethal Legion, and more. He is also a member of Stout Club, the creative powerhouse group developing original comic books. Stout Club includes Santolouco, Rafael Albuquerque, Eduardo Medeiros and Rafael Scavone.
Kevin Eastman // TMNT Co-Creator
Kevin Eastman co-created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles along with Peter Laird almost 40 years ago in 1984. The franchise has gone on to sell countless comic books, seven feature films (including one in August 2023), and billions of dollars in toys.

Gavin Smith // Comic Book Artist
Gavin Smith is a freelance artist who lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is the current artist for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on-going series from IDW Publishing. Some of his other most recent work includes Star Trek: The Mirror War for IDW Publishing, Heartpiercer for Dark Horse, and various TMNT covers for IDW including The Last Ronin, Armageddon Game, and the ongoing series.

Bob Tkacik // Comic Book Artist
Bob Tkacik is a freelance comic book artist who is currently working on finishing up his creator-owned comic book Good Boy Paws. Over the past few years, Tkacik has illustrated a number of TMNT covers including TMNT: The Last Ronin #1 and TMNT: Armageddon Game #1.
