Pires has had books published by a few publishers including Dark Horse, Image Comics, ComiXology and more.
Youth (ComiXology)
Youth is Larry Clark’s Kids meets Chronicle. X-Men by way of Frank Ocean. It smashes together the violence of coming of age with the violence of the superhero narrative – as well as the beauty.
Youth is a coming of age story that tells the story of two queer teenagers as they run away from their lives in a bigoted small town, and attempt to make their way to California. Along the way their car breaks down and they join up with a group of fellow misfits on the road. Embarking together in a van travelling the country they party and attempt to find themselves. And then something happens…
Volume 1 and Volume 2 are now available on ComiXology with Volume 3 coming May 23 or in trade paperback form from Dark Horse.
It’s Only Teenage Wasteland (Dark Horse)
In the first days of the apocalypse, a group of high school boys may be the last alive in the city. When his parents go out of town for the weekend, Mexican-American high schooler Javi decides to throw a party-one that’ll launch him and his buds into popularity! Or at least get them noticed by some girls. But no high school party goes off without a hitch. Javi can only watch as his friend takes a beating from the school bully, but then-BAM! The apocalypse has the worst timing. With few survivors-and even fewer sane ones-Javi and his friends will have to learn to survive together, and mend the fallout from the last party before the end of the world.

The Tomorrows (Dark Horse)
The future: Art is illegal. Everything everyone ever posted online has been weaponized against them. The reign of the Corporation is quickly becoming as absolute as it is brutal-unless the Tomorrows can stop it. Artists, terrorists, they fight with explosives, they fight with ideas, they fight to reclaim the future we sold.
This one is slightly older and will need some hunting to read!
Wyrd (Dark Horse)
When the U.S. government runs up against situations too strange for them to handle alone they only have one asset to call in-Pitor Wyrd. Whatever mission needs doing, whatever mystery needs solving, the roguishly handsome and surprisingly tough Wyrd acts as a one-man black ops team.

Olympia (Image Comics)
Elon is a latchkey kid who spends his days alone reading comic books-until his favorite superhero, Olympian, comes crashing off the page and into reality! But as he nurses his wounded hero back to health, he discovers Olympian isn’t the only thing that came through-something evil followed him. A comedic yet heartfelt love letter to the comics medium, Olympia is also a meditation on hope and loss, conceived by Curt Pires and his father, Tony Pires, while Tony was undergoing treatment for cancer.
