Seth MacFarlane‘s Fuzzy Door and UCP have teamed up to bring The Shrouded College to Peacock. The graphic novel series includes Hell To Pay and more.
The Shrouded College series is an interconnected set of seven adventure-horror stories that will be published in comic and graphic novel formats over the next several years. Taken together, the series tells the stories of various characters enlisted to become secret agents fighting a supernatural cold war on the side of the Shrouded College, a down-and-out organization on the edge of destruction.
Hell To Pay, the first of the seven stories, debuted in local comic shops in November from Image Comics. The series is from New York Times bestselling author Charles Soule and all-star artist Will Sliney. Both of whom will serve as executive producers on the project alongside MacFarlane, Erica Huggins and Rachel Hargreaves-Heald for Fuzzy Door. The next in the series, The Bloody Dozen, is set to hit shelves in late 2023.
Soule is known for his work at Marvel and DC, but most recently for his work as one of the architects of Lucasfilm’s new The High Republic Star Wars stories. Charles is known in the comic book world as one of the co-creators, along with Ryan Browne, of Curse Words and more recently Eight Billion Genies. The ladder of which was optioned by Amazon in 2022 and is finishing up it’s eight-issue run at Image Comics in March.
Sliney has illustrated Star Wars, Spider-Man and much more over the years and is co-founder of Pioneertown Productions. He will join the Capes and Tights Podcast in May for Star Wars Week to discuss his work on the Star Wars comics.
