With all the news coming from the expo, here is a breakdown of the Marvel D23 announcements.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Footage
The exclusive Black Panther: Wakanda Forever footage showed a world eager to pick off Wakanda at its lowest point after the death of T’Challa. Their stocks of Vibranium has made the nation a valuable target, though Queen Ramonda is a formidable opponent for anyone trying to get one over on Wakanda. There was also a scene of newcomer Namor (Tenoch Huerta) fighting M’Baku (Winston Duke).
The footage seems won’t be shown to the general public online.
Ironheart First Teaser Trailer
The very first trailer for the upcoming Ironheart Disney+ series was shown to the attendees in the Marvel D23 panel, but not online. Actor Anthony Ramos has also spoken about his character, the lead villain in the series. Ramos describes his character as “a complex guy who kicks ass”, and Kevin Feige says he deals with dark art and magic, which makes his clash with the tech-powered RiRi unique.
