MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Dark Horse and Tiny Onion present The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein, a one-shot that expands on the origin story of Adam Frankenstein. Written by Tate Brombal (Everything Dead & Dying, House of Slaughter), illustrated by Soo Lee (Carmilla, Kingdom of Earth), colored by Patricio Delpeche (TexArcanum, The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos Halloween Special), and lettered by Aditya Bidikar (Dawnrunner, Blue Book), this 56-page one-shot will be released in August 2026.
It will also feature cover art by David Talaski, Filipe Andrade, and Fernando Blanco and an eight-page “Monsters in Love” short story by Mark Bouchard, Naomi Franq, Héctor Barros and Bidikar as a flip-book with a special cover illustration by Kendra Wells.

This one-shot will also be collected in a paperback edition alongside The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos #7 and #8, which features another side story about Adam Frankenstein.
