It is inevitable to have scheduled release dates shuffled around when you plan so far in advance and that is just the case for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Disney has announced the move of dates for a number for films including four Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Deadpool 3 will move from September 6, 2024 to November 8, 2024, with the Fantastic Four reboot bumped to February 14, 2025. Avengers: Secret Wars will move from its original release date of November 7, 2025 to May 5, 2026. The move of the Secret Wars to 2025 will now split the two announced Avengers films between two years instead of the originally announced two films in 2024.
After Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) left his directing post at the upcoming Blade picture, the film has paused production before filming was supposed to commence in November 2022. The film was set to release on November 3, 2023, but will now push almost an entire year to release on September 6, 2024.
An untitled Marvel Cinematic Universe movie set for February 14, 2025 has been pushed to November 7, 2025.
Following the debut of Werewolf By Night on Friday, October 7 on Disney+, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will premiere Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on November 11, 2022. Next up after the Black Panther sequel is Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, 2023 kicking-off the fifth phase. However, first up is the season finale of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. The former has yet to have a release date revealed for Disney+ streaming.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe shuffle will hopefully lead to better and more flushed out films.
