The Capes and Tights crew continues their discussion of the Star Wars prequels for Star Wars Week with Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
Revenge of the Sith finished out the Star Wars prequel trilogy on May 19, 2005. The franchise rebounded a bit from Episode II with an $868.4 million box office on a $113 million budget. George Lucas once again wrote and directed the film with Rick McCallum producing.
Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu, Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Natalie Portman as Padmé Amidala, Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine / Darth Sidious, Anthony Daniels as the voice of C-3PO, Kenny Baker as R2-D2, Ahmed Best as Jar Jar Binks, Christopher Lee as Count Dooku / Darth Tyranus and Frank Oz as the voice of Yoda all returned with the third film. Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca joined the film after playing the role in the original trilogy.
