Jackson as Mace Windu, Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Natalie Portman as Padmé Amidala, Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine / Darth Sidious, Anthony Daniels as the voice of C-3PO, Kenny Baker as R2-D2, Ahmed Best as Jar Jar Binks, Christopher Lee as Count Dooku / Darth Tyranus and Frank Oz as the voice of Yoda all returned with the third film. Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca joined the film after playing the role in the original trilogy.
