With Star Wars Week here at Capes and Tights quickly approaching it is time to get you all up to speed on what to expect from May 1-7, 2023.
Capes and Tights had our first Star Wars Week in 2022 with a number of podcasts featured in the Star Wars Universe, including overall discussion of the Star Wars Universe, reviews of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, and Solo: A Star Wars Story, plus more!
In 2023 we are going even further! From Monday, May 1 – Sunday, May 7 the Capes and Tights Podcast will release three episodes with comic creators, multiple written interviews, top-10 lists and much more. Let’s take a look at Star Wars Week 2023!

Older is one of the team of people Lucasfilm put together to help create The High Republic properties across many different media formats. Daniel is a New York Times bestselling author and has written both comics and novels for a few different publishers and has much more in-store.
Daniel Jose Older is the writer behind IDW Publishing’s The High Republic Adventures (2021) and The High Republic Adventures FCBD 2021; Marvel Comics‘ The High Republic: Trail of Shadows and War of the Bounty Hunters: 4-LOM & Zuckuss; Dark Horse Comics’ The High Republic Adventures (2022) and The High Republic Adventures FCBD 2023; as well as Manga comic The High Republic: The Edge of Balance: Precedent.
He is also the author of novels The High Republic: Race to Crashpoint Tower, Midnight Horizon: Star Wars: The High Republic, and the upcoming The High Republic: Escape from Valo.

Working his way from animation through to children’s books, Chris has managed to work on some truly “out of this world” projects including the beloved Star Wars series of Little Golden Books.
